Operation Stay Golden was based off the incredible life and impact of Corporal Jordan R. Stanton (USMC). Jordan had a unique personality and thrived in the US Military. His personality, strength, endurance, and sense of humor made a significant impact on those who knew him. He constantly found the brighter side of situations and always tried to inspire those around him and aid where he could. Jordan served in the U.S. Marine Corps with 2D Reconnaissance Battalion and deployed to Afghanistan in 2010-2011 during Operation Enduring Freedom. He was Killed in Action on March 4th, 2011, and is survived by his family (Bob and Joyce Stanton), his three bothers, and the fellow Recon Marines who had the privilege and honor to call him their friend/teammate.

"Strength doesn't come from what you can do, it comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn't. Stay strong, keep pushing forward, and never underestimate the power of self-improvement and positivity. You are warriors, heroes, and survivors - continue to rise above and inspire others with your resilience and unwavering spirit."
